Lauren was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Award to the Czech Republic.
At Baylor
While at Baylor, Lauren was actively involved in the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Her thesis was entitled A Disquieting Moral Reality: The Responsibility of the Modern American University In The Moral Formation of Their Students Under Late-Stage Capitalism As Analyzed Through The Work Of Alasdair MacIntyre and Michel Foucault. She received an outstanding designation for her work.
