Lilly is a senior University Scholar from Fairfax, VA concentrating in English, Political Science, and History, with secondary majors in English and Political Science. After Baylor, she plans to attend law school. Lilly is involved in the Provost's Scholars Program, Kappa Alpha Theta, the Pre-Law Society, and Highland Baptist Church.
Lilly’s favorite reading list book was Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis. She is writing her thesis on the motif of motherhood in the works of female American authors, including Flannery O'Connor, Sylvia Plath, and Toni Morrison, and is working alongside faculty mentor Dr. Mona Choucair (English).
Lilly would love to meet and chat with any UNSC student and can answer questions about living in the HRC, Greek life, pre-law, and the UNSC program. To new students, she says: “UNSC is an incredible program and a wonderful community! Take advantage of your ability to avoid prerequisites and focus on a wide range of concentrations that interest you.”
