John Austin DeLozier

John Austin is a junior University Scholar from Orange, CA concentrating in Great Texts, Sociology, Political Science, and Greek. After Baylor, he plans to attend law school. On campus, John Austin is involved in Teal Residential College, Eta Sigma Phi, Baylor Engaged Fellows, Baylor Gymnastics Club, Baylor Poetry Club, and Baylor Co-ed Cheer.
John Austin’s favorite reading list book was Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky. His thesis topic is on Liberation theology's role in Haitian democracy and subsequent US intervention. He’s worked with faculty mentor Dr. Chris Pieper (Sociology).
