Emily O'Kief
UNSC Student Mentor
Emily is a senior University Scholar from Seward, Nebraska concentrating in Philosophy, History, and French. After Baylor, she plans to attend law school or grad school. On campus, Emily serves as the Alumni Relations Co-Chair for Student Foundations, is a BIC student, and has participated in Baylor Study Abroad.
Emily's favorite reading list book was Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche. Her thesis topic on ancient Greek echoes found within French feminist conversations against the female body as polluting and lacking. She is working with faculty mentors Dr. Lenore Writ and Dr. Jacob Abell.
To new students, Emily says: "Make sure to get involved on campus! It's a great way to meet new people and find your home here at Baylor!"
