Alli Barton
UNSC Student Mentor
Alli is a junior university scholar from Missouri City, TX concentrating in Biology, Medical Humanities, and Spanish. After Baylor, she plans to attend either medical school or PA school. On campus, Alli is involved an undergraduate researcher in the Greathouse Lab, the service chair for Alpha Epsilon Delta (pre-health honor society), and a former social committee member for the HRC.
Alli's favorite reading list book was Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Her thesis is on The efficacy of Stat-AMPs in targeting different strains of Fusobacterium nucleatum.
To new students, Alli says: "One of the most important things in college is finding a balance between work and play. Whether it be sports events, social groups, or extracurriculars, find outlets for rest and joy amidst the business of academics."
